BEACON FORTE SCHOOL, previously known as Lighthouse Christian Mission School, is a renowned institution founded by Lady Pastor Helena O. Asamoah. Beginning over seven years ago as a nursery with two students, the school has grown considerably under the able guidance of Lady Pastor Helena O. Asamoah into three separate departments comprising of Nursery, Primary, and Secondary divisions, currently enrolling over three hundred students. Beacon Forte’s mission is to produce intellectuals and professionals who serve God in their generation while providing a holistic nurturing approach (spiritual, mental, and physical) for every student.

Our experienced and committed teaching staff create a welcoming environment, catering to smaller class sizes and well-resourced classrooms, to produce an effective and enjoyable learning experience. Our campus, located at Kwesi Moko a suburb of Agona Swedru in the Central Region, boast a team of highly qualified staff and topnotch facilities.

THE OFFICE OF THE FOUNDER AND PROPRIETRESS

Lady Pastor Helena Yaa Bonsara Asamoah, popularly known as School Mummy, founded Beacon Forte formally known as Lighthouse Christian Mission School. She obtained her Pastorial Certificate at the Anagkazo Bible Ministry and Training Centre, under the able leadership of Bishop Dag Heward Mills in 2014. Her love for mission works and dedication to the holistic welfare of the children encouraged her to start her teaching career at the Lighthouse Chapel at Agona Swedru in 2017. She was also gifted and skillful in the fashion industry and that supported in the establishment of the early days of the school.

She mooted an idea of opening a nursery school from the church premises at Swedru-Aboso, to cater for working mothers who had no house help. She started initially with two (2) pupils, but gradually, as the good name of the school spread, so did the number of the little ones grow.The KG and Primary (stage 1-stage 4) classes began on the same premises as the Nursery School. Meanwhile, land for the Primary School was acquired with the inspiration of the HOLY SPIRIT. Currently, the school she started with just two pupils and two teachers has developed steadily to Secondary department (JHS 1) with 350 pupils . The number of administrative, teaching and non-teaching staff for the nursery, primary and JHS is forty-two. Looking ahead we aimed to finally have a three-stream school with all the facilities needed to groom children into well-developed individuals both academically and socially.

Though we still have a long way to go, we can confidently say that a lot has been achieved. The school has added to its many facilities, a well furnished computer laboratory to enhance the skills of the learners, a pick-and-drop school bus service, a second to none Nursery Complex (Montessori system). Currently, the school has over 400 hundred learner’s populations including with over 40 teaching and non-teaching staff.
